Hey everyone,
We noticed that it’s time to give you guys another update on where we’re at right now with everything and how it’s coming together.
Production is Ending.
We’ve been through a lot with regards to production for the Socks, the highs of more-refined higher-silver-content socks and the lows of the coronavirus pandemic.
We’re now happy to say that while we’re not quite there yet, production is starting to come to an end and we will start to receive the final pairs of socks in the coming 2-3 weeks.
Our warehousing team are on standby to quickly apply all our Quality Assurance and stringent checks to the socks as soon as they arrive and get them right out of the door.
What we need you to do.
It has been quite a long time since we had sent out the surveys and during these difficult times - especially with respect to the Coronavirus, it can be hard to keep a track of everything.

Hey everyone,
It’s been a while since our last update, so we do hope you’re keeping well and managing to stay safe.
We’ve slightly delayed this update as we’ve wanted to gather a bit more information and update you over a vast range of topical talking points.
To begin with let’s discuss;
Production status
We are glad to say the spinning phase has now been completed and we must say from the pictures we’ve seen the cotton is looking awesome!
Now at this moment we are well on with the weaving phase where the silver thread is meticulously interwoven with our custom cotton to make our magic blend.
We estimate this will go one for another couple of weeks when the final assembly phase will play out.
The big question: WHEN DO YOU SHIP?
With everything factored in, the SilverSocks should arrive at our warehouse in a few weeks in batches.
We’re so excited to see them (and we know you are too)!
We now anticipate that the first completed batch will be sent over to our dedicated shipping team just before the middle of June and as such…
We will most likely begin shipping in mid-June!
That means everyone should slowly see tracking numbers in their inboxes through the middle of June going towards the end.
We’ll inform you with another update when we’ve got the first batch about when you should be seeing yours go out.
What happens during the shipping phase?
Once our dedicated shipping team receive the completed SilverSocks, they will then begin to create your individual packages. Almost 80% of you have elected to have more than one pair of Socks as well as the Underwear therefore this won’t be an overnight job, but we do want to get it done as quickly and as diligently as possible.
We are also monitoring the ever changing and fluctuating global economies and shipping costs to ensure the prices are fair for everyone.
As such we will begin shipping when shipping stability has been achieved to your country and in the interim we can already see that this sector is beginning to stabilise a lot.
Final notes
Again, we cannot thank you all enough for the amazing support and we are super stoked to ship your SilverSocks as the finishing line gets ever closer.

Hey everyone,
Before we begin, we’d like to wish you all well and hope you’re keeping yourselves safe during these testing times.
We’d like to explain exactly what we’ve been up to and where things are at, now that the production for the SilverUnderwear/Socks has started.
Unprecedented times
We’d like to apologise for not coming back to the project for a while.
The reason behind this is that one of our team had fallen ill with the coronavirus which turned our lives upside down.
We were all shocked to learn of the diagnosis and since we had been in contact with him, we were at risk of getting the virus.
We’re relieved to be able to say the rest of us have not developed any symptoms.
While this was ongoing, we had not yet been able to finalise a production end date due to factors beyond our control with the manufacturer (which we talk about below) so we were unable to return with an update.
We have since come to an agreement and here’s what has happened.
What is happening with your SilverUnderwear/Socks
Our factories have updated us that many workers in their factories have not come back to work as they had anticipated.
This has led us to unprecedented times where there are many costs bearing upon the manufacturers which has ultimately led to a necessity to complete larger orders which bring more profits.
Production is slowly underway
While our production run has started, it is at a much lower priority than normal.
This is because even though we have paid the manufacturers, the cost of production has risen but as we couldn’t pay them more (but had already locked in our rate), we both finally settled on letting our order take a little longer.
This means that each segment of the process has been spread between the times that other much larger orders (that were queued before us) are taking place. This will allow the managers to keep their factories running at full efficiency and as a consequence, the entire process will take factors longer than we anticipated.
How things are progressing
We’re happy to say that our raw materials are working through their spinning phase right now and after this part is complete, will proceed to the weaving phase.
With the severely reduced workforce, we anticipate there will be around one month until the next phase of the process, the weaving, is set to take place.
So far, we have given various dates for delivery yet at this time we’re predicting that the lengthened process will take at least 1-2 months leading us into around mid-June before our warehouse is set to take over and begin shipping.
Going forward
As the global pandemic has endangered many lives across the world, it has caused a lot of fear and uncertainty in these extraordinary times.
We understand your thoughts on the delays and we’d like to thank you for all the patience you’ve had with us, as we’re disheartened by these delays just as much as you are.
After already fulfilling two fantastic projects in the past, we want to thank you for staying on with us through our journey. We turned to Kickstarter to launch our idea for the amazing community spirit we have here and we’re so happy we did.
All your feedback and amazing thoughts have led us to where we are now and we couldn’t be more thankful.

Hey guys,
We’re here to let you know what’s been happening for the past month.
A damper on production
As you may all have heard of the Novel Coronavirus by now, it has become a huge outbreak in East Asia. Shortly after our previous update, the cases started spreading rapidly and Hong Kong has been under a state of emergency, shutting the majority of borders and trying to reduce the spread.
This has had a negative impact on our SilverSocks in many ways:
Firstly, as much of the Hong Kong economy depends on China, (over 80% of some industries), the border closures have led to a great deal of panic and problems for work all around.
Secondly, as many of the orders for high end clothing were from across the world, the problem has arisen that the factories couldn’t keep their staff on where demand had fallen due to the sensitivity of the virus and border closures.
Thirdly, the fear of the coronavirus has led many skilled staff from both the mainland and Hong Kong to delay their return to work, even as parts of the border reopen and a hint of normalcy is starting to take shape.
What we’ve been up to
The problems above haven’t been a complete nightmare for us.
Since there was a short downturn of business going to the factory we use, we were able to work with the very few highly skilled sample designers on a closer level, with iterations and changes taking just over a week as opposed to up to a month when there was much more work for them.
As many of the manufacturing staff have been away and it was obvious that production was on hold, we were able to take this extra time to really hone in on the material changes with the samples team.
What this means
As normalcy is returning to the workforce and as more workers are due to return to work, all the iterations, changes and developments can now be put together to make the perfect Socks for you.
Production is slated to begin as everything returns within 2-3 weeks, with the final design now in our hands and the factory having programmed us into their widening schedule.
Our many hurdles
After running two previous projects with over 3000+ backers between them and thousands of online orders to our site, absolutely nothing could have prepared us for this project.
This is by far the biggest undertaking we have had. Period.
While we wish these hurdles would never have happened, things like the Corona Virus (COVID-19) would have been impossible to mitigate with the incredible spread and impact it has shown worldwide, something that could only be described as an “act of god”.
We have learnt so much in this project and the whole team wants you to know how much we appreciate everything you guys have done for us, from some of you supporting us throughout all three projects to the others for giving us those kind reassuring comments on the project.
You guys are the best!
Thanks ever so much for your support and we promise we’re working super hard on getting all your important socks to you. We’re even more eager than you are for you to get them!

Hello all,
We hope you are doing great.
What can you expect now we are approaching the end of the campaign?!
Clearance period
Once the campaign ends a period of around 2 weeks will take place where Indiegogo lock down, process and disburse the funds from the campaign.
Whilst this takes place we are in slight limbo until we get the greenlight to proceed with the campaign timeline. As a multi-time creator, we foresee no problems with this part, however it is one of the few elements of the timeline where we have no control of how long it will take.
Surveys
What has been quite confusing for many backers is how the selection process works. Sadly Indiegogo has a very primitive survey selection tool, which is somewhat confusing when initially pledging.
This is why we elect to use a service called 'Backerkit'. It is an interactive survey where you can select size and type. Along with informing us of your address and other contact details to ensure safe shipping. You can also get access to some exclusive add-ons and upgrade to express shipping if you live in a hard to ship country.
